Insert joke about fake news. No wait, I can't do it.
Seesar - Flight of Raphtontis
Seesar creates "dark ambient lovecraft inspired futurist gothscapes". The recordings here were fashioned using household objects and self-made drums. You wouldn't know, the blinding screams of sound instead seeming to come from a Silent Hill-type world.
LeVant - UnFinetude
I've listened to this a bunch of times and still don't have a full handle on it. It's an expression of "digimodern experimental music", from Romanian composer George D. Stănciulescu. It's got elements of garish electronica, freeform jazz-like exploration, harsh noise and throbbing techno, but it's much more than all that. Get into it.
Dworzec Towarowy, an audio expedition by Werner Urban
Long-time Dutch beat-maker Werner Urban was on a road trip through Poland last year and came upon an abandoned freight station in Wrocław. He and his girlfriend Lilian van Rooij took a bunch of field recordings and made this incredible body of work with them. With titles like 'Flat Tire And A Rain Puddle', 'Glass Shards And A Polish Newspaper' and 'Crushed Can Of Piast Wrocławski' you can get a hint of how it came together. It's great.
Falke - ... (KANN30)
This one sold me with one line: "Post-socialistic aesthetic detects 90s’ electronica to merge into a contemporary careless version of house." The title track is absolutely sublime, a driving 90s house track with shades of Jam & Spoon, topped off with a beautifully plaintive synth line. It's the best track on the album by a mile — overall it's solid, especially tracks like 'Boom' and 'Just Heaven' — but this one really stands out.

Cc Sh i ny Mix
Embalming Lately's Cc delivers a spectacular mix of postmodern classical, new age, muted techno and reverent gamelan.
CHAINES - DOWN
Here we have a short piece performed last August by the London Contemporary Orchestra. It's by Bandcloud favourite and Slip artist Chaines, who features here on guitar, and it accompanied Ron Arad's 360˚ installation Curtain Call at London's Roundhouse venue.
WISDOM TEETH — K-LONE - Woniso
This is forthcoming on a 12" that features tracks by Simo Cell and Don't DJ. At first I was annoyed that the first track unveiled wasn't by either of those guys, but this is a beauty. It's a slowly building expansive track "focused on themes of repetition, poly-metrics, transformation and abstraction". Blissfully hypnotic.
Regis Turner — on se reverra tous en italie
French artist Regis Turner just shared this recording from 2015, it's from a live collection called @ klein eiland. This track is particularly mournful, syncopated downward scales balanced perfectly against a simple repeated phrase. I die.
dj haram — DJ HARAM 4 CHROMAT AW17 BUOYANCY
DJ Haram recently modelled for Chromat alongside Bearcat, and she also put together this mix for Chromat's NYFW AW17 show. It's as thrilling and exciting as you'd expect from Haram — 18 minutes of pure distilled bangers — I can only imagine it propelled models down the runway at breakneck speed, however.
DISCWOMAN 18 x Josey Rebelle
The latest Discwoman mix comes from Josey Rebelle, and naturally it is perfect. The first half is on a dark and angry house tip, before switching up into electro rave territory by way of JJ Fad. It ends with a slow jam, for the lovers.
Hope you're well. Hope you liked the Tuuun mix. Hope you buy me coffee.
