Bandcloud, official music of the tolerant left. Intolerant to nazis though.
VA - Sel-dentified No-ale Artists Making Experimental Electronic Music (Hylé Tapes)
This here is a weighty compilation from Hylé Tapes, focusing on the group named in the title. Among many other things, "it brings to the forefront a large community for whom this mixtape is a real opportunity to create a network for sharing experiences and skills". There's no theme - there is vocal manipulation, ambient bliss, sound art, techno, everything really. Details on each artist once you click in, too.
Constantine - Hades
Constantine is Greek artist Constantine Skourlis, and this release comes on UAE-based Bedouin Records. It's an intense listen, four slowly unfurling pieces of dark ambient, some of which ebb and flow like the waters of the Styx, others seeming to unravel like the demons in your mind as you make that journey across. It closes with 'Erebus', named after either a primordial deity, representing the personification of darkness, or the section of the underworld often known as Tartarus. There's no redemption here.
Matt Whitehead vs Myoptika
Here we have a split tape on the nascent Frequency Domain label, which previously released a cassette by Anthony Child. Side one features new-age-inspired electronica with beats, rugged electro that defies time signatures, titles that nod to Blade Runnerand so forth. Side two opts for a long-form approach, building tension and energy through what sounds like industrial machinery and space-age harmonies.
PS090 - Zachary Utz - Private Practice
I've listened to this about five times - it's one track of two, another tape release, forthcoming on Patient Sounds. It's beautiful and enriching, and I've needed that.

Wake Up! Podcast #34 - Chris Farrell (Idle Hands)
Idle Hands man Chris Farrell did this mix for the Wake Up! series. It's low-key vibey house, fitting the title of the series. Enjoy it with your morning coffee.
eecee - xssk (AHT077)
Slightly weird dubby techno excursion out now on Always Human Tapes.
Dane Law - r.bit (genot centre)
Dane Law did that My Heart Will Go On thing recently. This is another inspired collection, taking bits of tracks by William Orbit and reconfiguring them entirely, to wild effect. Track two is cut up from Ferry Corsten's Barber's Adagio remix, for example.
Joséphine - Guest Mix
You should be following Lullabies For Insomniacs anyway, but here's their latest guest mix, from Joséphine. It's a wide-ranging tread through ambient, jazz, psych pop and other weirdness, as you might expect.
AIR MIX 008: Cosmic Garden
Cosmic Garden released a beautiful 12 on Happy Skull last year, and this is their contribution to the family's Air Mix series. It's beautifully bright and full of flavour, a counterpoint to the often heavy techno you get from this series. Slightly cheesy (ie fun) piano house, 90s vibes, Italo feels, it's great.
Australopitecus Oltensis live @ Sameheads
I ended up down a kind of twisted electro wormhole this morning, and this was the highlight of that trip. AO seems to be another weird mysterious character, and I find that boring, but maybe it's an in-joke and I just don't get it. The music is sick - part weird psych trippy electronica, part chuggy electro vibes.
I'm tired and I need a break.
