Another Bank Holiday weekend here in Ireland. I'll be on radio Sunday night!
Ian Hawgood - A Higher Refrain
Ian Hawgood's discography is a sprawling mass of music, with stuff from his archives added to this account every week. This beautiful ambient piece defies description.
Woo - A La Luna
This was originally released in 1991 and is now due a vinyl release this autumn. For now, enjoy the joyous, plaintive melodies of this gorgeous release in digital form.
marbles. - vol. 1
More soft, flowing, drifting ambient for you. No idea who marbles. is.
VA - Electroacoustic Music in Latin America - 017 survey (Unexplained Sounds)
This is a 22-track comp, almost three hours in length, bringing together a variety of artists from Latin America working in the area of sound art, noise, drone and so forth. Some of it's dank, some beautiful, some of it is outright turgid and horrific. Great place to start if you want to dig deeper, and each track comes with full artist info.

Hotflush On Air #018 - TML Guest Mix
I haven't paid attention to Hotflush in some time but TML's name caught my attention. His release on the label (out today) is a brilliant collage of sounds, and this mix brings together some of his key influences and current favourites. Top stuff.
natal zaks. yumo, (2012). full ep.
Here's an old release from the Regelbau dude Central, released years ago and now unavailable. It's very nice. All scorched ambient and drifting haze. Peak Bandcloud.
Pechblende - From Afar
The same can be said for this track, in fact. It's from Pechblende, who actually featured a few weeks ago, but this one is so nice it's worthy of sharing again.
ntAmpi ft. lambdashift strings; Its Okay To Be A Little Ugly
This is lovely and sad. It is okay. Heavy and viscous but with a nice basic melody.
Public Release - Trail Mix
Hugely fun bouncy house for you!
Eris Drew & sold - Hugo Ball / Daphne Series
What a mix! Chicago's Eris Drew and sold (aka Glorbis) put together two hours of music that runs from "healing, refined and focused" to "raw and cathartic". It's deep and contemplative, considered in its curation and assembly and deserves proper focus.
Another reminder about the show! DDR at 8pm GMT!
