Hello. My name is City, and I'll be your guide today.

This has been daily listening for me ever since I first heard it. "ᆚᆠᅣᅢ sultan's cübbe mix" is an extremely well-wrought hip hop track that could tear down a club as well as it could soundtrack a blunted night drive. Things get livelier but not necessarily nicer on "ᆚᆠᅣᅢ." Highly, highly recommended.

Speaking of blunted hip hop, eyesanimal's newest (and so far, only) release is well worth a listen for fans of relaxed, deep, sample-heavy instrumental beatmakers. The standout track for me is "Clouds."

I cannot overemphasize how good this album is. It has made my jaw literally fall open in amazement multiple times. i.o has always had a singular vision but has really nailed it here, in my opinion.

Here's an older release that I still listen to frequently. Kevin Hufnagel is a phenomenal guitar player and I'm absolutely obsessed with the sounds and textures he creates. These recordings redefine what the acoustic guitar is capable of in a percussive sense. Check out Leo Brouwer for something compositionally similar.

Sparse and gorgeous music from Northern Canada. Aptly tagged "kalimba."

Here's a forthcoming tune from one-to-watch Graves. Listen loud, and keep an eye out for more from Graves and District Sound.

This is in the same vague vein as Graves. I don't know anything about this person, I just know that I love that Timbaland-style bassline. The recommended tracks sent me to this, which is also dope.

Absolutely gurning techno from somewhere in my hometown. I love everything this guy has uploaded. Pure criminal.

Commenter Kele Benk says, "it's like someone's confessing and he can't even hear it himself." I have no idea what that means and I'm sure Kele Benk doesn't either. But this is a great tune.

I didn't know how badly I needed to hear this song slowed down until just now, but the answer was, apparently, "badly."
