Good morning. I know I've not quite made my own 11am deadline the last few weeks but I'm on top of it again, at last. I remember a time when "no music came out" in the summer but I'm simply overwhelmed by how much stuff there is right now, from live sets and mixes to self-released albums and EPs. Not that I'm complaining.

Tengui - Transference
Stunning release on Broken20. Opening track 'Shadows' is dank and ruthless; 'Conditions' clanks and buzzes for its 14 minutes; 'Mutation' was forged in the harsh and blistering factory of the future, and yet I still found space for it in a mix I made for a friend for use in the gym/out running, in between Yamaneko and Xosar, of all people. It comes on tape, there's an insane 107-minute version and also there's a semidjfriendlyclubedit of 'Kicktrip', but I'm not entirely certain who gets what (purchasers, early adopters etc). It's masterful, I'll say that much.
Robert T - Seraph
'Retired Air traffic controller and father of 2, now an electronic musician melding 70s analog synthesis with 90s beats.' This is pretty excellent stuff, from such an unlikely source. Four pieces of dank and anguished techno, rife with field recordings.
Michel Banabila - 1983 - 1987 (free download)
Big thanks to Tatti for this one. Banabila is a Dutch film composer, and this excellent collection of 80s electronics is on his Bandcamp fo' free.
Sui Zhen - Secretly Susan
Weird kinda breathy dreamy pop from Melbourne-based artist Becky Sui Zhen. 'Infinity Street' is especially nice.
eternell - Life Will Set You Free
Gorgeous ambient dreamscapes from Sweden. Lush.
Meow The Jewels - Meowrly (prod. BOOTS)
Remember Run The Jewels 2? Well they're remaking it, with cat sounds. It started as a joke on their Kickstarter, then people started to fund it like crazy and it actually happened. This is the first track to cat the cat treatment, and it's been produced by BOOTS, who contributed vocals to the original track ('Early'). He's also known for his contribution to Beyoncé's self-titled album from 2013. This track wasn't my favourite — despite the urgency of its heartbreaking depiction of police stop gone violent — but this rework revises it entirely. Sparse and kittified, it's a huge step up. To get back to the song's thene, I'm not 100pc on the details but I believe proceeds from the sales of MTJ will go to the victims of police brutality.
Juno Plus Podcast 117: Jo Johnson
Juno Plus Podcast x Freerotation recording = sure-fire Bandcloud inclusion. Jo Johnson's ambient set is just sublime. Absolutely gorgeous.
C~L - ダンス
Recent Bandcloud mix contributer CL put together this super collection of Japanese boogie and disco from the 80s. It is fun and joyous and life-affirming and even a bit educational I guess? ダンス means "dance". So go do that.
Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch - 'Scale Of Volatility'
This isn't out until November (?!) but FatCat/130701 have shared it already, so here it is. This is properly cinematic, in that it's epic and laced with heart-rending emotion. Gah.
DJ Buraz - Do It For Me
Hat tip to Scientific Dreamz of U for sharing this one. They shared this mix from Zagreb's DJ Buraz. It's full of lurching angry slow-mo techno.
Crydamoure Presents Waves 2
Not sure how legit this is but it's pretty much out of print/impossible to find so I don't feel too bad sharing it. Crydamoure was a label run by Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel (alongside Éric Chédeville) between 1997 and 2003. This compilation, mixed by Archigram, features label highlights from Le Knight Club (Guy-Man and Éric), Crydajam (a bunch of the label's acts jamming together — hence the name), Play Paul (Guy-Man's brother) and so forth. Dig in and get funky.
ML148: Teresa Winter
Teresa Winter's been quiet since the release of her Oh Tina, No Tina tape on Reckno, but she's graced us with this wonderful mix for Mitamine Lab, a project that "promotes work by artists who are often overlooked". The mix is a lovely selection of dream pop and IDM.
DonMonique - Thirst Trap EP
Wonderfully sharp mixtape from young New Yorker DonMonique. Artwork is NSFW, fyi.

Get at me. Might be quiet next week. Might have a guest mail. Who knows?
All the best,
Aidan
