First guest mix of the year! I'm hoping they'll be more regular in 2018.
BFTT is a producer based in Leeds who makes weird club music. Next month he will be appearing on a Cong Burn 12" alongside Lack, Chekov and Howes with a skittery, full-bodied techno track that gets right up into your sternum. He's also a part of the Leftovers and Mutualism initiatives, putting on parties, sharing mixes, releasing music, that kind of thing. Without any stipulation, for this mix he decided to focus on music that he found on Bandcamp and SoundCloud (as well as dipping into some of the unreleased music at his disposal), and he's included links to all of these releases where possible. Top marks for that! It helps that the mix bangs, traversing the weird club music I mentioned, from growling noise and shredded grime vocals to lumpy beats to ... t.A.T.u. — just go with it...
