This is a very special mix. I first discovered Blue Tapes when the magnificent Katie Gately released a tape with them in late 2013. Their outlook is simple - according to their Facebook page, they are "a boutique cassette label specialising in handmade packaging, alternative process artwork, and curious audio". They keep it weird, in other words. From Katie's sonic explorations to death metal acappellas, not to mention keyboard meanderings from a cot-damn 13-year-old, everything they do is considered, intriguing and brilliant. So it's my delight to have them contribute a mix.
