The rain has come. So bundle up and stay dry indoors with these parcels of joy.

Beatrice Dillon - Blues Dances
Simply marvelous release from Beatrice Dillon on Where To Now. The tracks are really quite varied, moving from looped spoken word to awkward dance jerks and percussion lead wigouts and hazy synths. Essential stuff.
Apalusa - Ghost Notes
Beautifully measured and slow-moving drone. One to devote yourself to, not leave on in the background.
Sophia Loizou - Chrysalis
Astro:Dynamics have had a great year, and this continues that run. Sophia Loizou is a Bristol-based sound artist and composer, and her Loizou release is all morbid, apocalyptic tones, explosive and cavernous in its vision. The recordings were built around passages composed for solo flute, cello and more that were fed through an array of analog and digital tools, then fashioned into the tracks we have here. Quite astounding really.
Jo Johnson - Weaving
Gorgeous, glistening electronica, sort of like Laurie Spiegel b2b Steve Reich.
Mørkeblå / Tihkal - split
More Mørkeblå! He's actually in the middle of a purple patch right now, with more releases on the way, but let's focus on this one, on Indole Records. One of the tracks here is called 'Emoji of Sorrow', which I just love. The track is great too. Indecipherable vocal samples and droning synth passages meet gurgling swathes of noise, beautifully evoking another world. Another one is called 'Carcosa's Dreamscape', make of that what you will. Read an interview with Indole boss Jimmy Billingham, aka HOLOVR and (in this case) Tihkal, here on Juno Plus.

Future Brown - Wanna Party (Remix) feat. Tink and 3D Na'Tee
Okay, this is more than a year old but they've rebooted it with guest verses and anyway that beat is fire so who cares? I could probably happily listen to this forever, snapping my neck over and over again.
Debonair - 11th September 2014
Amazingly fun show as ever from Debi Ghose, all bangers and high energy.
Truancy Volume 100: Ben UFO
Yeah it's a biased plug but I don't care. Truants is back! And to kick into autumn we got Ben UFO to mix our 100th Truancy Volume. It's SUPERB. A mix in three parts, it's just wonderful.
Run The Jewels - Oh My Darling Don't Cry
Run The Jewels was my favourite non-Kanye release of 2013 (and even then it's neck and neck), so I am PSYCHED for RTJ2. I'm not gonna lie though, I haven't listened to this yet. I'm going to wait until I have the whole album. Rockist, I know, but I don't want to be teased and not have more RTJ to enjoy. But you can do what you will.
Erstlaub - The Somnambulist's Field Guide (Excerpt)
This excerpt from Erstlaub's recent 50-minute performance in Dundee sounds like a hoot: "The audience were given blindfolds in a darkened, comfortable space with an purifying incense of Mugwort burning and invited to traverse the psychic landscapes conjured as both a deeply introspective journey, and also part of a shared group experience." Ace.
Halvtrak - Sex On The Dance Floor Mix
A sexy acid-laced workout from Halvtrak - think Dance Mania, Relief etc. Fun baby.
Daniel Lucas - Sebéquisai
Not quite sure how to describe this one - it's sort of mediterranean-inspired techno, throbbing kicks meeting weird electronic tones. Great, whatever it is.
BIS Radio Show #747 with Eli Escobar + Blu Jemz
Tim Sweeney's killing it - Eli Escobar in the house!

Hope you have a good weekend. Holler as always.
All the best,
