Good morning. It's bloody cold. That's all I have from here.

Now That's What Your Parents Call Drone (Vol 2)
Brilliantly hilarious compilation, in which artists tackle the canon but deconstruct and rebuild them. Some work (Chicago!), some don't (no one should ever cover or remix 'I'm Not In Love') but it's fascinating nonetheless.
elizabeth veldon - the growing terror of nothing to think about
Inspired by the depression of the commute. Hum.
Missing Organs - Undiscovered
This is really great. Missing Organs is tQ writer Tristan Bath, and I've listened to this release about four times in the last few days. It's a bit drone, a bit techno, all very immersive and hypnotic. Apparently the project is in flux, it's going to get a bit more energetic, he says.
Cryptosystem I - Mortalscapes
Really interesting and impressive work from this new label, another one that's been getting constant repeats from me. Opens with bright, expansive sounds before going down a deeper rabbit hole of ominous terror and coming out the other side.
Urbán Múr - Dominion
"Avant-garde characterization of an aural language recognized through the use of collage."Haunting drone and stuff. You know, very Bandcloud.
Babe Rainbow - Don't Tell Me I'm Wrong
This is part of Ghostly Swim 2, a collaboration thing from Adult Swim and Ghostly International, as you might imagine. Taking the Bandcloud route of titling, I see. It's not unlike Babe Rainbow's recent album Falling Apart, which is obviously a very good thing.
Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith - Sundry
"Joyful ebullience" are the words that come to mind when I hear this. It's very much in the spirit of Laurie Spiegel, that kinda thing. Love it.
Claude Speeed - Ambien Rave
More rave than Ambien really, but fantastic nonetheless. Huge neon synths, anthemic and euphoric, but no beats.
Stefana Fratila - december 6th 1989
This is quite haunting. It was performed at the recent Big Joy Festival in Vancouver to commemorate the 14 women who died in the École Polytechnique massacre of December 6, 1989. "An imagining of what the walk to school might have been like for these women the morning before they were killed."
MssingNo - Ari Spn
In which MssingNo tackles Ariana Grande in his own inimitable style. Sweet.

Look out for something special from us in the coming days...
All the best,
