Midwich Youth Club - Under a duvet of snow
Is this a bit too Boards of Canada? Maybe. Just scrub away the beats and focus on the hazy vignettes, stitch them into a half-hour track and here you go. Still lovely, mind.

Omar - Dancing (K15 Remix)
This is so good it doesn't even feel like a remix - it feels like Omar's vocals and these beats and chords were born together as one. Top work from K15.

The Longest Direction Between Two Points
Ruaridh Law, aka TVO of Broken20 fame, has put together a few tracks that have yet to find a home, "a banishing of the old year", as he puts it. Our gain - incisive non-techno, deep electronic journeys, meandering electronic guitar, and a segment from The Dark Outside.  

Ava I. Grayson - The Lifts And Wakes Of Flying Snakes 
This is magnificent, recorded and shared last year but just released recently on {, acompilation put together by Xylem Recordings celebrating women producers and raising money for the Birmingham and Solihull Women's Aid. It's a wonderful, lilting piece, some 13 minutes long, that grows and builds from quiet beginnings through a rather sumptuous crescendo and then fades out. 

black classical - The Akashic Record
Not fully sure what's going on here, but it's a striking listen. Stark noises, odd vocal samples, dark noise. Twenty minutes of the above. The shorter 'HELLO CANARY CAPCOM' is quite striking, with its beautifully arpeggiated frosted synths.

MSN EMU - Appear Offline (rough sample) 
Hypothetical club constructions don't come more hypothetical than this. Has there ever been a more banging track about wanting to remain hidden and alone? That Skype tone is haunting.

Spokes - Tragedy In The Jasmine Garden
Just a demo, but a lovely one at that. Grime tempo, weightless vibes. Haunting, sepulchral stuff, think that kind of Name of The Rose mourning. More like this please.

Sun An - Walkthrough 
I often ignore the stuff Galcher reposts but this is superb. Dreamy and structureless, let alone beatless. Wrap yourself up in this one. There's a load more to dig through at the Buena Vista Discography Bandcamp page too - I'm digging the Quarter Year release.

Inoue Shirabe - You Don't Know My Lightcycle
This is so beautiful. Ben UFO played the B-side on Rinse last week but this is my pick. So glorious. So beautiful. Such tears, many cry.

DJ Deeon - The Freaks [from: Dance Mania: Ghetto Madness]
Classic stuff. Strut have a new Dance Mania comp out and this is a taste, if you don't know/love this track already. Lauren Martin recently interviewed Deeon and Parris Mitchell forDazed, so brush up on your history while getting down.

FADER Mix: Zaytoven
Short but sweet, man of the moment Zaytoven drops half an hour of A-Town heaters for your pleasure. Is anyone bored of 'Versace' yet? Will they ever be?

NIN - The Only Time (Natasha Kmeto Cover)
Maybe I shouldn't admit this, But I'm not really up on NIN. I listened to Ghosts I a bit when it came out but that's it. Natasha Kmeto has been playing 'The Only Time' live and decided to gift it on her Soundcloud, so here it is. I guess I should listen to Pretty Hate Machine.
