Isn't there a grand old stretch in the evenings, etc etc. I've tried to get more Bandcamp entries in, I know it can be Soundcloud heavy. Let's get right into it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brad Harkan - Noisescapes For Introspection (no longer online)
"This album is set to be comprised of long recordings which aren't always listenable."You said it brah. A lot of this is dark wind and chilling footsteps, so I wouldn't advise playing it in the dark or when you're alone, unless you're into that kind of thing. Strangely soothing if you are.
Tiltmode - Crohns Jungle
This is a short collection of jungle tracks made by Glasgow-based Tiltmode. It's retro in feel but doesn't seem overly steeped in the past. Check the bass on 'Southside'. Tiltmode has also done a free remix for Kalli, which is in an angry 4/4 techno mould.
Guy Birkin - Tintinnabuli Mathematica - Vol. I (no longer online)
Bleepy electronica of the most indulgent kind. '9f3' is particularly lovely.
Ambalance - Staring Problem
Toronto's Ambalance share three originals and three remixes, plodding techno stuff. The VVV remix is a bit Jon Hopkins, and the Marcos Cabral remix is a total banger.
Sébastien Tellier - La Ritournelle EP
So this doesn't come with previews but it's a welcome reminder of this glorious piece of work. I didn't know he had a Bandcamp, so go revisit the Aeroplane remix of 'Kilometer'like it's still 2009.
Perc - The Power and The Glory
This is a total face-melter of an album, the best deconstructed body of techno you'll find this month. Or this year, maybe. Not inspired by Graham Greene though, sadly. Anyway, take the chance to stream it if you're not convinced by any of the glowing reviews you might have seen already.
On to something less intense, this is another of those nine-minute meandering ditties I've shared often before. Nice for staring out the window or thinking wistfully about a holiday fling.
Black Unicorn - Traced Landscapes
Everything about this, from the titles like 'Temporal Immensities' and 'Trans-Dimensional Railway' to the Pynchon quote in the liner notes, screams pretension, but it's an interesting collection of electronic experiments. Somewhere between Goblin and Space Dimension Controller.

Reckonwrong's Right-On Traxx
Amsterdam-based Reckonwrong shares a mix largely built up of his own stuff, a wonderful introduction to an intriguing talent. Choppy percussive jams, almost tribal in spots, it's a really great listen. He's just joined Twitter, go give him a follow.
Karen Gwyer - New Roof EP
I shared this EP's opening track a few weeks ago, and here's the full thing. It's a menacing listen, even the brilliantly titled 'Nail Bars of The Apocalypse' is more ominous than its beatlessness lets on.
Sonic Router Records // Showcase Mix for Byte FM
The always exciting label offers a mix of SR gems new and, well, not quite so new (but definitely not old). The new Bambooman stuff sounds great.
RSMIX004 - Lakker
I've been playing Lakker's forthcoming R&S release a huge amount lately, and this mix is no less great. Opening with a gorgeous Leyland Kirby track on Apollo (of course) before blending that Hell Interface 'Midas Touch' remix with Aphex Twin, and using a great patten Burial remix, it's glorious. It even shifts briefly into Blackest Ever Black territory, but ends on a proper thump.
ERFUNDEN | Pod 031 | Ricardo Donoso
Ricardo Donoso shifts between dark techno and glacial ambience.
Rone - Boarding Pass
This mix was done for Tsugi mag last year, and it features celestial turns by Autechre and Holden, and some heavier stuff from Jon Hopkins and Dominik Eulberg. Rone's new EP on Infiné Music sounds great in a prog house way. The tracklist is here.
CFCF - Lorraine
Sometimes he goes overboard with the 80s thing, but this time he's got it right. This Valentine's ode is a week late, but it's still lovely.
starv - Inundate { NEW MIX TechHouseNoiseBeats }
Not much to say here, just great house and techno tracks mixed well together.
Fairmont - Greyhound
Border Community's Fairmont is about to drop a 12" on Areal records, and shared this nice groover for free as a taster. Plodding blobs and gated drones meet simmering stabs.
Doug Shipton - All Will Be Set Right
DJ Food called this "curious electronics and 'weird gear' neotantrik synth haze", which is about right. It's a really great mix of nice, trippy electronics.
New Kanada - Ambient Parks
New Kanada just put out this fantastic compilation of ambient tracks from "dance" artists. It's in the same vein as those Euphoria comps from a decade and a half ago - beatless atmospherics, like Music For Airports done by DJs. Soothing doesn't come close. There's one that samples The Great Dictator in a really life-affirming manner, and the aforementioned Fairmont turns in Twin Freeks, which flips 'Laura Palmer's Theme' into something that won't make you cry.
Slumber Session: Halls
This is a very late entry, I'm listening to it right now, but I'm including it just because it features a transition from (good) Nicolas Jaar (I loved SION) into Grouper. No tracklist. It's called Slumber Session though, so you know what you're getting.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think there's plenty there to get the blood pumping and then cool you down afterwards, get you in the mood for dancing and then sooth your hangover the next day. Or just play on the way to work. Hope you like it.
All the best,
Aidan
