Hello. To my UK readers... I don't know what to say.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stellar OM Source - Sudden
Stellar OM Source returns with the first new material since 2013's masterful Joy One Mile. 'Sudden', the first taste of Nit-lo, is a solid slab of acid techno, trite in anyone else's hands but given bite by her snarling percussion. Not quite at the same level as JOM, but I have hope the other three tracks will hold untold delights.
Lisa & Kroffe - Norrfjället
This is a really cool synth album, but it also features lots of woodwind and strings and even some electric mandolin played by someone called Peter Jackson. It was recorded over the course of a week in a 19th-Century cottage in a small village north-east of Stockholm. Loads of ideas going on. Very involving. Exhilarating stuff.
Hannah Phillips Soundwork - 1111
Imagine the sound of a mechanical wind-up music box as the music itself, rather than the gentle twinkle you might expect. Sound artist and bedroom musician Hannah Phillips has put together a collection of her fascinating works that sound like the above description. Incidentally, Hannah Phillips is the name of Sid's sister in Toy Story.
beaunoise - Satieworks
Satie on Synth. Gorgeous stuff.
Infinity Frequencies - Into the light
Another wonderful collection of sad and weird music from Computer Gaze, who also provided the Garth Marenghi-meets-Japanese-corporate sounds of Computer Afterlife. Sad and spoopy.
Kay Hill & Kevin Sanders - TREASON
A lengthy piece of noise that I listened to twice in a row the other night, 'TREASON' is a collaboration between Benjamin Hallatt and Kevin Sanders. Just noise. But more than that of course.
Father Of Two - afternoon pump
This is quite a sumptuous mix of deep house and techno from Cleveland-based Father Of Two, aka Twitter user @unit2669. Very enjoyable, and comes with dope artwork.
Exoteric Continent - Live excerpt 11/04/15 - Electrónica en Abril
An extract from Arnau Sala's performance at the festival Electrónica en Abril 2014 at La Casa Encendida, Madrid, last month. Intelligently banging. Too short though.
Geena - Pure Ground Research (Antinote 019)
Juno Plus shared this weird and wonderful release. Solid, pumping house music, but with added TV vocals and Amazonian effects. Jacking grooves come together with other-worldly panpipes and gurgling synth swathes. Top, top stuff.
LAUER - CREWNERS
Phillip Lauer drops a 13-track album on Perm Vac, and this track is a gorgeous cut that they've shared on SoundCloud. Bass. Bleeps. Swoon.

Hope you enjoyed all this, and you enjoyed CL's mix! Play it all weekend/summer long.
All the best,
Aidan
