Eyyyo. I've had a bad week but some of this music made it a little bit better. I hope you find something to bring you joy, calm, happiness, release, anger — whatever you need.

Kara-Lis Coverdale and LXV - Sirens
KLC recently put out an excellent tape on Sacred Phases, and here she collaborates with David Sutton, aka LXV. The whole thing is a mélange of electronics and melody and noise, vocals and keys, which, like everything really, deserves your ears rather than my words.
Helicopter Quartet - Ghost Machine
Helicopyer Quartet are in fact two people, Chrissie Caulfield and Michael Capstick. This release is full of dark electronics and swoonsome violin passages, freakish and haunting. Exceptional stuff.
SPR - EP1
This is the first release on a new label from Nina and Tobi of Hamburg's Golden Pudel. SPR is a ~mysterious~ producer from that city and this is a very good record of dark atmospherics and tones. Deep stuff.
Sela - Inevitable
I first came across Sela through First, a release for the excellent Error-Broadcast label. This release, which he's putting out himself, is simply wonderful. It's hip-hop, but it's like a dream — sound as hazy mist, whispers of samples
roya - untitled 1
This eight-minute piece of mournful yet languid techno really spoke to me when I came home from a run last night. Gorgeous. There are two other equally good tracks on this new account.
BBC AZN NETWORK - 15th May 2015
A hugely diverse set this — I recognise Kelly Rowland and Ri-Ri and that's about it. Grime, pop, romantic dirges, dancehall, get on this.
BLM - HMRC
This is like an updated take on SAW 85-92 but in a good way? I like it but I feel I can't let go of that comparison. Same with that CC Not track everyone's playing. Anyway. Enjoy. Squiggly.
Crazylegs - TRC & Princess Nyah - Butterflies (out Monday 25th)
MASSIVE GARAGE SUMMER ANTHEM. That's it. Hands in the air. Shake your hips stuff. There's a DJ Q remix too, ooh wee.
Welcome To The Room - Lena Willikens
Lena does her thing on BCR. There's an interview with Lena (once they sort the levels, ha), then she gets into the mix.
Solid Steel Radio Show 22/5/2015 Hour 1 - Tensnake
If you're not aware, today in Ireland we're voting on same-sex marriage. There's a real, palpable feeling of positivity and change in the air. I voted before work, and I'm very tense and hyper right now. This Tensnake mix is the perfect accompaniment though — it's wonderfully uplifting and exciting. There's a wicked house remix of Janet Jackson's 'The Pleasure Principle' towards the end (Todd Terry perhaps?), right before 'Can You Feel It'. Perfection. Reach for the moon.
RA Exchange EX.251 Mumdance
No music here, just Mumdance and Ryan Keeling chatting away for an hour. I've been a fan of Mumdance almost since the beginning, and it's been a joy and a pleasure to see his star rise this past year. This is an elucidating chat that goes back into his past (the record store chat is particularly amusing) and looks at his present methods.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND ALL. I'm going to see DJ Sprinkles tomorrow and I can't wait!
All the best,
Aidan
