Sup. This might be my last one for a while. Who knows where I'll find the time??? This one may be scant on words but know that it's just as high on quality as ever.

Sugarz - Natural High EP
Thoroughly enlivening 80s-influenced pop boogie from Sydney. Tracks one and four are my favourite,
Yko - Taō
Blissful ambient ting. Slightly dark and unsettling too though. Came out in 2013 but I only found it now. Seemingly because it only just went on Bandcamp.
Area - Moire
Ben UFO played this ace choppy, gated techno jawn on Rinse last night. It's from a rather weighty comp, the rest of which I haven't had a chance to check. Lemme know if it's any good?
Dow Jones Brotherhood - ~~~
DJB is a new project from Thomas De Rijk, a Dutchman who also goes by Halp. I met him briefly at ADE a few years ago, and he's lovely. This tape is a weird ambient project, but it's not so much ~ambient~ in the blissful sense as glitchy and unnerving and intriguing. Early morning wake-up music for weirdos.
Call Super for NTS & RLR @ Dekmantel Festival 07-31-2015
After utterly slaying Boiler Room this day last week man like JRS zipped over to the NTS pop-up on site and chatted to the lovely Tabitha about some tunes he liked. Peep the wonderful 'From the Ghetto' track, which also featured in his BUTW mix. If you ever got the impression that Call Spooper was overly serious or measured, watching the Boiler Room stream and listening to this broadcast will give you impression of how genuinely passionate and lovely he really is. Top lad.
Cooking with Palms Trax 013
Another great recent radio show came from Palms Trax, although you won't get any laughs here as he sadly removed the mic track. Great new tunes from Black Madonna (her remix of Nick Höppner) and Call Super (a track called 'Migrant' for Houndstooth) among others.
Avalon Emerson - Constantly My Cure (Vocal Mix)
Acid gurgle meets cold, defiant piano chords and Avalon's spoken lyrics. Always a pleasure to hear new stuff from her.
Rabit - Tearz
Mumdance has been playing this one on his Rinse show for some months now, and FINALLY we can hear it in full. Everyone will (and has already) called it Carpenteresque, but it really is. HUGE chunky 80s synth melodies, the title uttered in US movie announcement vocal style, everything about this is LARGE. Hence all the caps. Not even sorry.
Rinse FM Podcast - Mumdance - 2nd August 2015
Speaking of Mumdizzy, his show this week was super. Grimey Jon Peel in full effect. Some 80s and 90s classics, massive unreleased tunes, a wonderful track from the late Offshore, a wicked remix of Wen. Doolally's 'Straight From The Heart'!! New Finn, this ace track from Airhead that I've head in my head for aaaaaagggggges. Essential.
Ziro - CB Redux
I was listening to the above Mumdance show and when the piano riff came in I thought.... this sounds like 'Carte Blanche'! Then he said it was called 'CB Redux'. Then the main synth riff kicked in. Oh my god. Genuinely filled my heart to bursting, it wasn't full already.
Beatrice Dillon - Face A
Weeeeeird techno type thing? With sax (from Verity Susman)? Is there no end to the wonder of Beatrice?? Can't wait to own this.
F#X "Ambient Mix" @ rural 2015(新潟県津南町, JP)
Whopper, a three-hour live ambient mix from a few weeks back.
Timnah Sommerfeldt - Interlude
FOUR HOURS of "classic" hip-hop from Timnah - think Primo/Gang Starr, boom bap, Mobb Deep, Big L.
The Daou - Surrender Yourself (Ballroom Mix)
This is a classic and I want to share it, inspired by hearing that 'From The Ghetto' track above. Enjoy.
