And I'm sorry for the wait too. Worth it, I hope.

Dave Seidel - Prism, Mirror, Lens
Long twisted and sharp piece from Dave Seidel, one of the only things to capture my young child's attention (one month today!). It's beuatiful.
Pod Blotz - Other
Thanks to Tony/JP for this one. Dank cold wave. I think? Ace.
Rrose - Vanishing Pools
Rrose has intrigued me since that incredible Having Never Written A Note For Percussionrelease for Further. This is on Rrose's own Eaux label, and is a searingly dark enterprise. It was quite special yesterday when I was listening to this on the train home from work and the awkward lurch as it pulled into Ashtown felt like it was part of the music.
Mvestle - Poultice
A few weeks ago I tweeted about Ian Maleney's Fallow Media project. It's a multi-disciplinary body of work, in his own words a "digital space which can serve as a conduit for contemporary forms of art, writing, visualising, hearing, and thinking". This is the latest audio work, and it's from Mvestle, Wexforf-based noise merchant(s). It burrows inside you. Welcome it.
SISTERS, I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS WORLD IS COMING TO - SEPTEMBER 3 - 2015
Brendan Arnott's latest show for TRP has a lotttt going on. A James Baldwin speech over tribal house. An interview with Umfang. An interview with Anthony "Shake" Shakir. And a dope mix from Jody El aka SOFT LEATHER DADDY. "Stoned in CostCo around 11pm vibes."
Daniel Avery - 'Decision Two'
Ambient vibes from young Dan. Hmm.
Andrea Taeggi - Mama Matrix Most Mysterious
Amazing stuff from Type. Minimal (not-minimal) techno, kinda droney, 3/4, sparse. Dank.
[nia] - two
GRINDING NOISE
SK Kakraba — Guun
SK Kakraba is a Master Xylophonist from Ghana. The Guun is the last song played at a funeral, aimed at getting people up dancing. "The more people dance, the more the deceased will rest happily."
caro_mikalef - Soundtrack For 18 Min Drive
Long droning abstraction from designer/writer/musician Caro Mikalef, who's done work for the excellent Invisible City Records.
Midland - Rinse FM Residency (August 2015)
Mad props to Midland for a month of stellar Friday night shows on Rinse. There's a section in his first show that just blows me away on every listen, both on track selection and sequencing. Then on his final show he played 'Dirty Talk' AND 'He Not In'.
/f - ~cicatrix [excerpts]
Cacao is back!!! This is weird and loud and intense and a bit scary. Good though. Get the full thing here along with all their other excellent releases.
OPTION #4 - water - Resom for BCR 29.08.2015
Liquid tracks to dive into if you're mad at anti-refugee bigotry! Then go donate clothes/money/time to help those in need once you've cooled off. I'd share links but I know you that you're scattered across the world so that could be fruitless. Visit MSF.
live ambient courtesy of unknown mobile
This is not on the cloud, but you can stream it on the site. It's a gorgeous half hour or so of ambient loveliness from Unknown Mobile, of Summer Cool fame. Out to @timmychunks for bringing it to my attention.

So. New mix next week!
All the best,
Aidan
